Lawrence Hellmann has for years been deeply and passionately involved in matters involving parents and children, and the struggle for fair custody arrangements. He has served as president of the National Congress for Fathers & Children. Four times he has participated in cases reaching the California Supreme Court.
A popular media figure, Mr. Hellmann has spoken about child custody on Good Morning America, The Today Show, and participated with Fox News in specials about the Geneva Conventions rights for children who are moved overseas. Mr. Hellmann has been interviewed on the air by persons such as Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Patrick Buchanan, and Bill Press. He has served as consultant to several other television shows on issues such as child custody and child support.
Mr. Hellmann has testified before the California Senate judicial committee on issues of child custody and paternity fraud. He has worked on legislation in several states. He co-authored the legal section for the book ”Parental Alienation, DSM-V, and ICD-11″, published in 2010, and reviewed in US News & World Report.
Mr. Hellmann serves Warren Law Group as a researcher and special consultant in matters of child custody, visitation, support, paternity issues and marital property rights, including high conflict custody cases. Although Mr. Hellmann holds the degree of juris doctor, he is not presently licensed as an attorney in California.
